You’re going to want to open this box of brightness.
Gabrielle, aka The Green Gables, is an eco-friendly stationery designer from the UK. She’s already got a web shop full of gorgeous paper goodies, and now she’s started a subscription service called The Happy Paper Club, which will give you a bunch of her products each month. Because paper makes people like us happy!
I’ve ordered from Gabrielle before – I love her simple, cute and colourful doodles. Especially her ‘Simple Things‘ pattern which I must say I got on a notebook, notepad and wrapping paper. Heh.
I ordered a test box of her first round to see what would be inside, and I’m quite pleased! Here, why don’t you see for yourself.
A pretty card made of paper towels of an illustrated Audrey Hepburn quote greets you once you delicately rip open the tissue paper wrapping.
I really like these “Make Me” cards – you can use them for more than just recipes! You could file away project ideas or some sort of not-so-subtle command to a family member to do a chore đ
This is the notepad I mentioned above. I’m happy to have a second, as I’ve been using the first up rapidly as letter stationery, notes or sending to friends. So cute!
Simple inspiring postcards, sure to brighten a postal worker’s day, too.
This notebook reminds me of summer. I’ll make sure to keep it on me in the warm weather for when inspiration strikes. Plain paper inside.
Gabrielle also included a paper doll set from the adorable British designer Clara & Macy. I’m really hankering to give this to my Canadian red-headed pal Clara.
There you have it! You’re itching to sign up for the club now, right? You can either get a monthly taster like this, buy a rolling subscription or a six month subscription.
And above all this postal glee, it’s helping me get inspired for The Self Care Package, which I hope to launch in a few months!
Thanks for the post about this, Jessica. I hadn’t heard of any UK-based services like this. I got a few packages from A Beautiful Mess’ “Happy Mail”, but a lot of the stuff I knew I would never use, such as copious “get well” cards. I think I’ll definitely try a taster box when it’s next available!
