Inside my ‘In case of a gloomy day’ package swap

Sorry for the lack of posts, everyone! I hate having these long radio silences but sometimes there are not enough hours in my days, weeks, et cetera.

As you may be able to tell by now, I love putting swap packages together. So when The Postal Society hosted a ‘in case of a gloomy day’ one, I thought a) this is awesome b) this can be inspiration for The Self Care Package and c) I hope I can cheer someone up with loads of goodies!

So here’s what was inside what I sent to Annika.

The carnival bear decorations are from an older Kikki-K line. So cute! The At Least You Tried card is from the awesome Toronto-based card company Sea & Lake.

I saw on Annika’s profile that she liked coffee, so I included a lot of the Coffee Break collection papers! There’s also a sticker of a ribbon, a rainy day fake stamp, an encouraging quote, and a hot air balloon tag.

I also saw on her profile that she enjoys birds, nature journalling and old photographs. These photographs are actually vintage postcards.

The banner is from the Flow Magazine Book for Paper Lovers 2, I believe. It fully says Have a Wonderful Day (I think?), which I thought was appropriate! There’s also a little hugging cat, a mini notebook (thanks to Nichole) and a paper craft of a girl crying listening to records by Mel Stringer (it’s cute!).

Thanks to The Postal Society & Annika for letting me put this together! I had so much fun! Making packages make my gloomy days better, too.
