It’s been a while since I did a Stationery Talk post! Good thing the holidays were a fruitful season 😉 Here are some recent finds that make me wish I was basically living in paper.
This adorable small notepad is from Hey Chickadee – the same site where I got the Pusheen notepad. Good for one-sheet notes and cheeky letters. You could write in any colour ink on it and it’d look great! The notepad makes me think of video games, nostalgia and a carefree attitude. (The mini pad in the corner is from the dollar section at Michael’s.)
This is a mini die-cut notepad I found at The Paper Place – it’s by Madison Park Greetings. How badly do you want to be in an air balloon with kittens (who are chilled out) right now? I like sticking these in with letters to my pen pals.
Cards aren’t my letter-writing staples – I prefer pretty notepad paper as we can tell – but when I find a good one, I can’t resist, like this design from Paperchase (which we now have one of in Toronto). This is such an ideal design, I need to remind myself to actually use the cards rather than selfishly hoard them for no reason. So pretty! I want to be in a summer field right now writing a letter on a typewriter!
When I saw this notebook by Elise Hurst for Petite Sauvage in a store, I knew I had to have it. It was a bit more expensive than I would have thought, but the illustrations just immediately settled right into my imagination. I don’t plan on using it as a notebook so much; I’d cut out the pages for letters. Though now that I’ve seen the rest of the line online I think I should have waited to find the stationery set! Anyhoo, it’s a great size, feels nice in your hands, the paper is a good weight and texture, and the illustrations are like a storybook. It literally has a daydreaming girl on the cover!
you always find the cutest stuff!
That hot air balloon notepad is soooo you!
And that typewritercard is awesome! Must plan a trip to Paperchase soon …. XD
I buy cute cards for myself constantly; I have a small cardrack above my desk..
